The driver of a rental car parked in his driveway in southwest Florida has been fined $200 for violating a Florida parking law, police said.

The driver of the rental car in the city of Glen Burnie, Florida, was charged by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office with illegal parking in violation of a municipal parking law last week.

The vehicle was parked in the middle of the street for two hours last week and was towed by a tow truck after being caught on video.

It was towed from the parking lot by an unknown company.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Nicole Eller said Tuesday that the driver was also fined $100 and issued a citation for the parking violation.

The owner of the car was not immediately available for comment.

The sheriff’s office said the car owner was not the driver.
