Birmingham, the UK capital of England and Wales, has the highest car rental prices in the UK, with prices that are on average 25 per cent higher than the average rental in the rest of the UK.
The city of Birmingham has the second highest average car rental price in the country at £10.96 a day, behind only Newcastle with a £11.85 a day average.
According to the latest data from the UK Office for National Statistics, the average car is now used by about 9.4 per cent of people in the city, making it the UK most frequently used car.
Birmingham is home to the biggest concentration of car rental companies in the region.
Renting in Birmingham is available via a number of different car rental services and leasing companies, such as Orbitz Car Rental and Empire Car Renting.
These companies have a range of cars to choose from and there are also car rental agencies that lease cars to residents of the city.
However, according to data from RentHub.co.uk, the car rental industry in Birmingham has been hit hard by the global economic downturn.
It says that between December 2016 and June 2017, there were 2,988 cancellations and 0,737 car loans.
RentHub.com, a UK car rental agency, says that since March 2017, the number of cancellations is up by more than 20 per cent.
In the same period last year, there was only one cancellation and 0.1 loan.
It says: “Rental car ownership has fallen and it is not just people in a rented car.
It’s now not just those renting, it’s those who are unable to find someone to drive them home after work or school.”
A spokesman for Orbitz said: “The majority of our customers rent cars in Birmingham.
The company says that around 1,300 cars are used every day, compared to around 5,000 in the whole of the rest, which means there is a very limited number of cars available for each person in Birmingham that are available for a day or two a week. “
There is a limited amount of space available in our network and we encourage people to consider other options.”
